This is an awesome interview with the author of "The Shack" – William P. Young.  After hearing this interview I gained a new perspective on God.  We all have shacks and most interalize the notation that God can have every part of us but he doesn't want our shack (junk).  The Shack is ugly and nasty and resides in secret, the cool thing is that God is actually in the midst of our shack, healing us from the inside out. Be encouraged, God has invited us into his family, into his story and he has it all figured out for us.

I started to listen to this CD again after 3 years of laying it aside and realized that this message is a timeless message for leaders looking at starting something new or for those that need encouragment and permission to redue what is currently done.  Jim Collins has really captured the very essence of what makes good companies great.

When change is a “must,” your mind will find a way to make it happen. When change is a “should,” you only attempt change when you feel it will hurt less and you will be most comfortable. Procrastination will stymie your change. You must make changes now in order to change your life! I must change now! I found that all successful people I’ve ever spoken to had a turning point. The turning point was when they made a clear, specific unequivocal decision that they were not going to continue living a certain way; they were going to achieve success. Some people make that decision at age fifteen and some people make it at fifty; most people never make it at all. Change is up to you! Are you ready to change? Successful people take responsibility for changing their personal and professional lives. Taking responsibility for change means: • You must stop blaming everybody else for your outcomes. • You must get unsatisfied with your current results. • Eliminate the stories you keep telling yourself about why this change cannot happen. • You must stop waiting for outside circumstances to change. • You must stop waiting for other people to change. • You must stop waiting on God to change it when He wants you to do it. • You must stop throwing change into the future and make it happen today. One of my favorite speakers is a gentleman by the name of Ravi Zacharias.  He unveils the mystery and beauty of God in a way that absolutely proves there is not only a God, but a God who wants to know you and I.  I have posted some audio that I have that helps answer the big question:  Is God Real?  Visit often and enjoy listening to this series, it will challenge, grow, and inspire you to go deeper with God.  For those who visit who are not sure if God is real or who may completely deny the existence of God…I would challenge you to at least listen with an open mind and judge it for yourself.
